Conference: Universidades indígenas y el futuro de la Amazonía
Museum der Kulturen 01.10.2021
In recent decades, educational institutions such as Indigenous universities have been created through local or state initiatives. Starting from the needs of the Indigenous population, the conference will look at the different conditions of access to higher education in the Amazonian states. To what extent do these initiatives allow to combine local knowledge with preparation for global problems? What contribution do they make to the current challenges and the future of the Amazon and its inhabitants? The conference will also address the importance of international cooperation and museum collections for education. Conference languages will be Spanish and Portuguese. The program will take place between 15:00 and 20:00 on both days. Join the meeting via ZOOM with this link. Meeting-ID: 828 0742 4851, Kenncode: 992399.
