Water will be a key resource in the future as climate change is leading to water scarcity and poorer water quality, sparking both national and international conflicts in the Amazon region. Efficient and fair water management is essential to promoting and securing peace, while also protecting the climate. This event aims to highlight how economic decisions in high-income countries, such as Switzerland, drive resource depletion in other parts of the world. In English.
