This band from Belem and Switzerland creates a fusion of the rhythms from Amazonia and around the world. In addition to north Brazilian beats, the broad, beautiful melodiousness of Brazilian music, along with elements selected from jazz and African tradition, serves as the dominant force behind this work. Together with their colleagues, three musicians from Amazonia create an inviting, open, and warm sound built around their own compositions, which are both forward looking and traditional, fascinatingly rich and vital.
