Conversation: Taita Hernando Chinody, Ayenan Quinchoa and Felipe Castelblanco
In October 2021, two Indigenous leaders from the Colombian Pan-Amazon region traveled to Switzerland as cultural ambassadors for their communities. One of them is Taita Hernando Chindoy, the governor of the Inga nation in Colombia. The other, Ayênan Quinchoa Juajibioy, is a cultural promoter, filmmaker, and musician of the Kamënstá nation. Their communities share a volatile, yet invaluable, territory inside the Putumayo state in the Southwest of Colombia. This video shows a 360 degrees experience of an exchange between Taita Hernando Chindoy, Ayênan Quinchoa Juajibioy and the artist Felipe Castelblanco in Zurich. The conversation took place in Spanish, English subtitles can be activated by the viewers.
