Andrea Flores

Andrea Flores is an actress, clown, director, playwright, researcher, and theater teacher from the Amazon. She is a founding member of Coletivas Xoxós, a theater group from Belém, active for eight years, and a solo performer. Currently, she is an artistic resident and manager of Teatro do Desassossego, an alternative theater space in Belém, located in the basement of a historic mansion in the city center. Andrea is a member of Brutus Desenhadores, a design collective. She holds a Ph.D. in arts from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and is a professor at the School of Theater and Dance of the Federal University of Pará.
