Róger Neyra Luzuriaga

Róger Neira Luzuriaga is a filmmaker, poet, screenwriter, cultural manager, and conservationist of natural areas and film archives. He is an editor and director of the art, eroticism, and spirit magazine Las Sumas Voces for seven years. He is director and founder of the Healing Center Ayahuasca Peru and a president of the Ayahuasca Peru Amazonía Siglo 30, an institution dedicated to intercultural education, traditional medicine and reforestation of the Peruvian Amazon. For more than 18 years, he has been working and living with various native communities in Peru and South America. He has written and directed seven short documentaries and three short fiction films that won several national and international awards. He published a poetry collection 13 Horas de poesía. He is also an artistic director of the Festival de Cine Latinoamericano en Lenguas Originarias.
